An international mining company requires a Specialist Construction Supervisor for one of their leading open cut coal mines to help deliver a range of upgrade and new infrastructure projects.


Your new role
As the Construction Supervisor you will oversee a range of projects and act as the key interface between the onsite contractors and the project team. To do this you will be responsible for liaising with the onsite contractors to ensure their programme and schedule of works is in line with the agreed project timelines, inspect and identify quality issues including non conformance whilst ensuring that best safe work practices are adhered to.


What you'll need to succeed
To be successful you will have

• Demonstrated experience delivering large scale infrastructure or mining projects
• Proven ability to supervise, manage and delegate accordingly
• Good Knowledge across Australian Standards and Legislations within the construction Industry
• Understanding of Safety, quality and environmental policies, procedures
• Experience as a supervisor, superintendent or similar position.
• Hold your S1/S2/S3 and G2 competencies
• CBM and S11 will be advantageous
• Strong computer literacy
