Nurse Unit Manager - Mackay - Emergency Care:

Join one of the leading providers of health, education and research in their Emergency Care Centre. You will have the chance to be part of an organisation that prides itself on the exceptional care that they provide to clients with their innovative approach to healthcare.

The role:

This full-time position will see you managing the day to day operation of the Emergency Care centre. Due to the nature of the centre, you will be responsible for a range of clients from newborn through to the elderly. The centre is open 7 days a week 8.00-22.00, whilst your role will be predominately Monday to Friday (76 hours a fortnight), to enable you to be successful in this position and fully understand the operations, you may be required to work some evenings and weekends.

What you would need to be successful:

  • Registration as a Division 1 Registered Nurse with AHPRA
  • 5 years experience in a similar role
  • Fantastic communication skills to be able to manage the centre and team to a high standard
  • Any further management qualifications or certificates would be a massive bonus!
