  • The Allied Health Hinterland Team at the Clermont Multi-Purpose Health Service is looking for an Allied Health Assistant to join their team on a Permanent Full Time basis.

    The Clermont Multi-Purpose Health Service is made up to two facilities: The Hospital Campus and the Aged Care Facility, Montcler, both in Clermont. The hospital has 10 beds providing general medical acute care and 6 aged care beds, a 24-hour Emergency Department, post-surgical admissions and post-natal admissions as well as various clinics and visiting services. Montcler is a brand new 22-bed facility, completed in 2018, that is an extension of the Clermont Hospital.

    Your role:

    To work as a member of a trans-disciplinary Allied Health team, delivering clinical services to clients in the Mackay Hospital and Health Services Hinterland, covering a range of clinical conditions, complexity and age groups. The team provide clinical care in person and via tele-heath.
    To contribute to client care by providing clinical support tasks delegated under the direct or indirect supervision of an Allied Health Professional (Dietitian, Occupational Therapist, Physiotherapist, Podiatrist, Psychologist, Social Worker or Speech Pathologist).
    To assist the Allied Health Professional with clinical, administrative, telehealth and customer service processes and the maintenance and management of equipment, supplies and impress systems.
    In certain circumstances overnight accommodation may be necessary.

    Conditions of employment:
