Provide daily supervision of a work team under the overview of a Supervisor to undertake scheduled maintenance/construction activities/tasks assigned by a Supervisor in a “hands on” and supervisory role. The position will manage and assess existing stormwater and drainage infrastructure assets in the early stages of planning, design and investigations to assist with project delivery, asset replacement or rehabilitation planning.

 

Essential Qualifications, Experience & Skills:

• Tertiary level qualifications in Civil Engineering or a relevant field and/or qualifications acceptable for membership of the Institution of Engineers Australia.
• Significant experience in design, maintenance or construction, preferably in a Project Engineer capacity or equivalent and especially related to stormwater drainage system.
• Demonstrated experience in one or more of the following skill areas: planning, forecasting, budgeting, design, construction management, asset maintenance and/or contract administration of Public Works engineering infrastructure.
• Experience in project delivery including cost control.
• Practical experience in the implementation, development and maintenance of an Asset Management System including Pavement Management systems.
• Current QLD ‘C’ Class drivers licence.
